Roda de Berà Celebrates the 37th Sardana Gathering: A Day of Tradition and Fellowship at Ermita de Berà

Roda de Berà is preparing to host one of the most anticipated events on its cultural calendar: the 37th Aplec de Sardanes (Sardana Gathering). This traditional event, organized by the Grup Sardanista de Roda de Berà, promises a day full of music, dance, and fellowship in the emblematic surroundings of Ermita de Berà. The Roda de Berà Town Council, along with various entities, collaborates in the realization of this event that year after year brings together sardana lovers and residents of the municipality.

The day, which will be held on Monday, April 6, 2026, will start in the morning and extend until the evening, offering a varied program for all audiences. From the mass in honor of the Mare de Déu de Berà to the traditional snack of 'mona' and muscatel, the aplec is a unique opportunity to experience Catalan culture in a festive and family-friendly atmosphere.

🗓️ 37th APLEC DE SARDANES AGENDA

* 🔹 Mass and Start of the Aplec

* ⏰ 10:30 h - Mass in honor of M.D. de Berà.

* ⏰ 11:30 h - Start of the aplec.

* 📍 Ermita de Berà, Roda de Berà

* 📝 The day will begin with the traditional mass, followed by the official opening of the aplec with the first sardana dances.

* 🔹 Fellowship Lunch

* ⏰ 14:00 h

* 📍 Plaça de l'Ermita de Berà, Roda de Berà

* 📝 Popular lunch with salad, fideuá, bread, water, and wine. Price: 15€. Reservations must be made before April 1st at Forn Queralt or by calling 616 104 752 (Provi) or 629 882 240 (Teresa). Tables and chairs will be provided for everyone.

* 🔹 Continuation of the Aplec and Snack

* ⏰ 16:30 h - Continuation of the aplec.

* ⏰ 18:00 h - 'Mona' and muscatel snack for everyone.

* ⏰ 19:00 h - End of the Aplec and singing of farewells.

* 📍 Ermita de Berà, Roda de Berà

* 📝 The afternoon will continue with more sardana dances, culminating in a popular snack and the day's farewell.

Please note that there will be a bar service throughout the day. In case of rain, the Aplec will be moved to the Poliesportiu Municipal de Roda de Berà.
