Roda de Berà Celebrates the 1st Orange Exhibition and Gastronomic Days to Highlight its Citrus Legacy

The Roda de Berà Town Council and the ASSOCIACIÓ CAMÍ DEL REC are organizing the 1st Orange Exhibition and Gastronomic Days, an initiative to give visibility and value to orange cultivation in the municipality. This tradition, dating back a century thanks to climatic conditions and water availability, has left a legacy with agricultural farms that still maintain almost centenarian trees today. The exhibition will feature a variety of activities to be held on February 28, 2026, with the aim of boosting local agricultural heritage and offering a cultural and gastronomic experience to visitors. Furthermore, the collaboration with local restaurateurs and bakeries is highlighted; during these days, they will offer dishes and sweets made with oranges on their menus and displays, thus enriching the local gastronomic offer. The presence of representatives from the ASSOCIACIÓ CAMÍ DEL REC and Mayor Pere Virgili is expected during the day. **Agenda for the 1st Orange Exhibition and Gastronomic Days in Roda de Berà:** 🗓️ SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 28, 2026 🔹 1st Orange Exhibition and Gastronomic Days in Roda de Berà ⏰ 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM (estimated) 📍 Plaça de la Vila, Roda de Berà 📝 Program of events: • 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Citrus tasting and creative workshops with oranges. • 12:00 PM: Presentation of the ASSOCIACIÓ CAMÍ DEL REC and the exhibition, by representatives of the association and Mayor Pere Virgili. • 12:30 PM: Vermouth with live music featuring guitarist Aco.
