Roda de Berà is preparing for a unique astronomical event! Next Friday, July 3rd, 2026, the Municipal Casino will host the informative talk 'Roda under the Moon's Shadow', an unmissable opportunity for all audiences to learn the secrets of a total eclipse.

Led by Javi Elias, from the Observatori Rodamir R75 accredited by the Harvard & Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, this session will offer a comprehensive guide on how an eclipse occurs, what can be seen from our municipality, and most importantly, how to observe it safely. Key timings, the phase of totality, and practical tips for fully enjoying this celestial phenomenon will be discussed.

The Roda de Berà Town Council, together with the Associació Cultural Les Mouges and the Observatori Rodamir R75, invites citizens to participate in this interesting proposal that promises to bring science and astronomy closer to all residents.
