The Bera Arch is a single-opening Roman triumphal arch situated on the route of the ancient Via Augusta, today the N-340 national road. It is one of the most iconic Roman monuments in Catalonia, erected at the end of the 1st century BC by the testamentary disposition of Lucius Licinius Sura. In the year 2000, it was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site as part of the Archaeological Ensemble of Tarraco. It stands over 10 meters tall and is renowned for its architectural sobriety and elegance.
