Elies Quarry
Roda de Berà, Tarragona
About this place
The Elies Quarry is an ancient stone quarry that was first excavated during the Roman era, providing building material for constructions such as the Bera Arch. Today, it has been beautifully reclaimed as an outdoor cultural and ecological park. It features a natural amphitheater integrated within the stone walls, hosting concerts and theatrical plays during the summer, surrounded by Mediterranean forests of oak and pine.
